All the information on this portal has been categorised into the four different user groups;

These easy-to-use colour coded groups gives you access to the News, Resources, Events and a comprehensive list of support organisations ready to assist you in getting from where you are to where you need to be.

Cape Town Activa's Goals:

• Make Cape Town a more competitive business environment that is more conducive to local business development and an attractive business environment for outside investors
• Stimulate creation of locally owned businesses, catalyzing job growth creation and ultimately lowering the unemployment rate
• Position Cape Town as a “smart city”, a “lifestyle city” and an attractive business destination
• Develop human capital; addressing the needs of different aspects of the business community (e.g. innovation support, small business skills development, career support and placement programs, etc.)
• Define the overarching structure and framework for the entrepreneurship “eco-system”

Directions by Road:

From Cape Town International Airport, take the exit onto the N2 and drive towards Cape Town. Follow the N2 onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard all the way into town. When you reach the first set of traffic lights with the CTICC on your left, continue straight. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Hans Strijdom Avenue. The lane to the square is 400m up the road on your left-hand side just past the SARS building.

There is public undercover parking in the SARS building, the entrance to parking in Hans Strijdom Avenue, or use the open-street parking in the avenue or on Jetty Street. Custom Graphics is just below The Business Place, and the New Tulbagh Hotel just across the way.

Directions by Public Transport:

The My City bus route runs along Hans Strijdom Avenue, disembark at the Tulbagh platform and walk the 50 m down the avenue.
